You'll be developing and shipping functionality across our event-driven platform - from patient-facing applications and AI-powered health tools to integrations with healthcare systems. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll contribute to building scalable systems while growing your skills in distributed architecture, healthcare technology, and best practices. This is an opportunity to write meaningful code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and make a tangible difference in the lives of hundres of thousands of women.</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Hybrid (NYC). We value in-person collaboration and aim for at least three days per week in our NYC office, with flexibility as needed.</p> <p><strong>Your Impact&nbsp; </strong></p> <ul> <li>Build and ship features across the full stack that enhance patient experience and enable personalized care delivery</li> <li>Contribute to the development of event-driven systems, including AI/ML-powered health guidance tools and healthcare integrations</li> <li>Write clean, maintainable code following established engineering standards and best practices</li> <li>Collaborate with product, design, clinical, and data teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet user needs</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain code quality</li> <li>Support the reliability and performance of production systems through monitoring, debugging, and incremental improvements</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications&nbsp; </strong></p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production applications</li> <li>Strong programming skills in modern languages such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar</li> <li>Experience with full-stack development, including frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar) and backend services</li> <li>Understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders</li> <li>Self-motivated with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies and domains</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, or stream processing</li> <li>Exposure to healthcare technology, HIPAA compliance requirements, or regulated industries</li> <li>Familiarity with Next.js, TypeScript, or AWS services</li> <li>Prior experience at a startup or fast-paced environment&nbsp; </li> </ul> <p><strong>What Allara Offers</strong></p> <p><strong>Compensation &amp; Career Growth</strong></p> <ul> <li>$148, 500 - $173, 250 with opportunities for advancement</li> <li>Equity</li> <li>Professional development &amp; employee learning programs</li> </ul> <p><em>Actual...
